  • Eric Hancock

Hi, I am Eric Hancock. I have worked as an insurance agent since 2000 and a Principle of Anchor Insurance since 2010. I have over 14 years of financial service experience in which I have been an agent, a sales manager, VP of business development at a bank, and most notably a teacher. In 2010, I decided it was time to stop working for other people and start working for myself. The vision I had was to create an agency were agents had the freedom to choose products based on the clients needs not because of one insurance carrier’s products. I know that may sound simple, but we see this offense all the time in our profession. At Anchor Insurance Agencies, we are completely independent. We will not be beholden to any insurance carrier. Our Promise is to get your company, family member, or lil’ brother into the most affordable quality products available. Helping people is what I love to do. I don’t have free time because I have 5 kids… When I’m not working I enjoy coaching and working outside. I’m a tinkerer by nature and love to get creative. I have been married to my lovely wife Traci for 18 adventurous years.

If I won the lottery… I would give 50% of it away in a charitable trust, and then I would see the world…. Starting with New Zealand.

My NERD FACTOR is a love Turner Classic Movies channel and especially a fan of old movies with Cary Grant.

I am a fan of College athletics…I hate pro sports… just can’t wrap my head around paying someone that crazy money when our teachers are just getting by.

BUCKET list moment… I want to construct a rat rod.

If I were a superhero, I would be Captain America.

  • Tyler Clifford

I’m Tyler Clifford, I’ve been an agent with Anchor Insurance since 2014. Prior to starting my career in insurance I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

I have always had a passion for helping people and the Insurance Industry has proved to be a great career path to accomplish this. I have experience working with clients on dental, vision, disability, accident, health plans, and more.

I grew up on a ranch in Hayes Center, a small town in Southwest Nebraska. Staying busy was easy to do with checking cows, swathing, raking, bailing hay, fixing fence, and whatever else had to be done. I was taught to do things right the first time and this is the same approach I take with my clients.

My hobbies include hunting, fishing, boating and pretty much anything outdoors. I will rarely miss a Husker football game, only if it’s deer season. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me.

  • Ashley Benson

Hi there! I’m Ashley. I’ve been with The Anchor Team since August 2016. I am the office Manager in our Omaha office. I was born and raised in Omaha. I love working in the insurance business and helping our clients. I have a silly, spunky, 2nd grade daughter, Zoey. Together, we love going to the zoo, fishing, the park, bowling, camping, swimming, and playing outside, but she doesn’t like shopping. I’ve been coaching her softball team for the last 4 years. If we’re not at the softball fields, we’re at the sand courts, playing volleyball. I also really enjoy watching Zoey play basketball, something I was never good at. (She got the basketball skills from my sister.) Something about me is that I am always listening to music. When I get to the office in the mornings, the first thing I do is put music on. Get in the car, music. Cooking dinner, music. Feel free to stop by the Omaha office and say hello! I love meeting new people and having conversation.

My name is Tomas (toe-moss) Robles (row-bless), which stands for: “your insurance agent” in Spanish! 😉 I’m originally from Sioux City, IA and grew up through my teens in a quaint and lovely Dutch town named Hawarden, Iowa. At 18, I hit the dusty trail to Sioux Falls, SD and enjoyed the Falls for 6 more years before trekking to Lincoln, NE. What can I say, I love the Midwest. I’ve been in Lincoln almost 4 years! My interests are: the great outdoors, writing music, my mother’s cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. Why Insurance? When I’m educating, problem solving, and looking out for you best interest- I’m in my element. My first unofficial job was as a translator for my family at age 4, so you see, I’ve been rocking it since then. Speaking of Rocking…. I was a touring musician up until I moved to Lincoln, NE. Guitar and bass over here. Music made it possible for me to travel across most of North America and meet so many wonderful people that I still connect with! Thanks for getting to know me, I’m excited to get to know YOU.
